Exactly, thank you! :)
Yang YangParticipantThanks for your answer. I see double-click works this way; just wonder if left-click while holding Ctrl still works in v16.9, the same manner as in v10.
Yang YangParticipantEmEditor is lightning fast to start up, but it has been my old habit to keep several tabs always open as an instant scratchpad.
Admittedly, it’s joyful to know a total of 124 new documents has been created during 8 hours of work, but sooner or later this will become distracting… :)
Yang YangParticipantOK, thank you! Before posting this suggestion I though there must be a reason for the bitmap font and it might be related to HDPI screens… Actually that’s a major reason that pushed me to upgrade from v10 to v16 on my new laptop.
Not an easy workaround, but when it’s done, what a pleasure to the eyes! :)
Yang YangParticipantThank you for the suggestion! Actually I tried the renaming trick before — the same as you suggested — but the list looked ugly. I wonder why it has to be in an alphabetical order. Quick match? There aren’t many items.

“/cygdrive/d/Tools/EmEditor/emeditor.exe” “$@” &
When I enter:
$ ee *.tex
, all the .tex files in the current folder are opened. I’m happy with this behavior and won’t bother to try cmd.exe.August 19, 2007 at 10:42 am in reply to: Opening multiple files using the OPEN dialog AND from the command line #4583Yang YangParticipantI think interpreting wildcard characters is usually the shell’s reponsibility.
