This is actually correct, but the view is not refreshed correctly. The cursor position is at Line 4 for the left image, but only the top portion of the current line is refreshed.
I will fix the refresh issue on the next version.

“/extract” is only for old installers with the “.exe” extension. Newer installers have “.msi” extension, so /extract is not needed anymore.

I understand the binary of the files are not identical anymore between the installer and the portable due to different timestamp used in digital signature.

Add Next Occurrence
Add Next Occurrence
Select Character (F8)
Down several times.
Add Next Occurrence

I am not sure what you mean by “mark several lines”. Do you mean Bookmark, or Auto-Marker, or a simple selection?

If EmEditor crashes, a crash report file will be created usually in the C:\ProgramData\Emurasoft\EmEditor\Error folder. Please email the most recent file (compressed to a Zip archive) to tech @ emurasoft.com as an attachment with the detail information including procedure to reproduce your issue.

You can also provide a video to explain the issue.
