    Thanks for posting the code. It will help me in developing my macro in which the next/prev phrase surrounded by quotes should be selected.

    Can you explain what you mean, i am not sure .

    What i did was disable quotes and added 2 highlighted regex words
    “.+?”

    ".+?"

    and then the other one I am working with.

    this worked because it seems that it uses the later word to to override the earlier highlight word.

    The only way I can think of is to disable the highlight of quoted strings

    Blackhawk thanks for sharing that.

    What I don’t understand is what triggers the snippet to appear besides clicking on it within the snippet list. Does it automaticly appear just when the first word is typed.

    Also, isn’t it a very large job to edit all the commands with place holders?

    It is recommended that you uninstall previous v9 before you install a new version

    I am running version 8.

    If I install the new beta will I be able to run both the old version 8 and the beta ?

    I am mentioning this again because I need resolution.

    I can not go to version 9 if I loose the autocomlplete funtionality.

    As I mentioned in the other note, I need wordcomplete working and it doesn’t for the the new snippets but it does by autocomplete.

    Just a suggestion,
    It would increase the power of the snippit plug-in. I rely heavily on the wordcomplete function.
