2. Enable DirectWrite.
3. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and then press ESC to switch back.
4. Use mouse wheel to scroll down, you will see the “black” block.Emed64 v17.7.91 or earlier is OK.
skyParticipantWindows 10 64bit have the same problem, it not only related to font size change, but also affected by “Wrap by Window”
“Character Space” is set to 0.If “Character Space” try to use 2, still have problem.
Some of words space will become bigger, but some of words space is correct.skyParticipantWin 7 64bit, did not use DirectWrite.
Font:
Microsoft JhengHei UI
Microsoft YaHei UI
HanaMinAIt will happen during change the font size from 12 to 16.
skyParticipantIssue fixed. Thanks.
skyParticipantTested on v18.3.93 with Win 7 64bit.

2. Type some text, for example: “test test test…………………………”October 31, 2018 at 6:41 pm in reply to: CSV "Double-click outside to create a new cell" problem. #23913skyParticipantThis issue has been fixed after update to v18.2.93.
Thanks.skyParticipantYes, Extract button in Find dialog box.
skyParticipantTry this…
1. Tool -> Select Configuration -> Define Configurations…
2. Select an item and click Set as Default button.Set as Default button
Set the selected item as the default configuration. The default configuration is selected when EmEditor is launched or when the New Text command is selected.skyParticipantYes, “Include Save Workspace button in the Save Changes? dialog box”
This option will be better. Thanks.skyParticipantCurrently, if want to not display “Save Workspace” button, only if “Save, Restore and Keep Undo Information, and No Prompts to Save Files” is selected.
But it have to save the workspace as well.Could you please to add an option for the Automatic Workspace: “None, and No Prompts to Save Files.”
Because user was accustomed to not display “Save Workspace” button as older version did, sometimes will click “Save Workspace” wrongly (instead of “Don’t Save”).
Thanks for your consideration.skyParticipantWindows 10 64 bit is OK.
But Windows 7 64 bit is still not works. (v17.8.0 beta 4)skyParticipantEmEditor v17.8.0 beta 3, mouse wheel in Windows 10 64 bit is OK to scroll up/down.
But the Logitech mouse wheel in Windows 7 64 bit is still not works.skyParticipantIn v17.6.93, still unable to display eeCompare report properly for the “│” character.
And the new quote mark in eeCompare report, can not be hidden in CSV mode, it will look more complicated. For example:
test1.txt

╰──────╯
Test1 test1
Sea; pop. 230
Download and experience the “World’s fastest text editor” now!

test2.txt
╭──────╮
│ V4.063 │

In v17.6.92, line#2 got problem.

April 16, 2018 at 7:48 pm in reply to: Lines Displayed changes when Converting between "Wrap by Window" to "No Wrap" #23043skyParticipantTry to reproduce one of the issues as below:

Step 4. Set to “Wrap by Window” again.
Step 5. Switch to “test.csv” tab
Step 6. Back to “test.txt” tab again, it is keep as “Wrap by Window”. => OK
skyParticipantIt seems beta 3 have the similar problem with beta 1 ?
skyParticipantWow…this is very useful function for editing CJK Ext. characters.
Many thanks, although only English and Japanese versions are added for beta version.
And is it possible to use this function when the “DirectWrite” is disable ?By the way, if try to drag and drop items to adjust the order in the Font Fallback list, it will crash.
skyParticipantAlso tested on Win10 64bit with many different fonts, and encoding of the file is UTF-8.
All of these fonts have the same problem.
skyParticipantI see…
The problem is the step 1, in EE v17.5.902, it can not select the ext. B~F Characters first, just put the cursor before the character is ok.
But in EE v17.5.0 or earlier, have no this limitations, it can select the ext. B~F Characters first, and then press Ctrl+I.EE v17.5.0
skyParticipantTested on Win7 64bit & Win10 64bit; EmEditor v17.5.902 64bit & 32bit portable, all default setting.
Step 1. Select 𫞺 (U+2B7BA)
Step 2. View -> Character Code Value or Press Ctrl+I, nothing happened.
(CJK ext. A is OK)
skyParticipantSuppose it is related to EE launch method.
Test conditions: Win7 64bit; EmEditor v17.5.902 64bit or 32bit portable, all default setting.
Test.txt: 10,000,000 lines of “abcdefghijk”Step 1.
Initial launch EmEditor, enable “DirectWrite”, and then close EmEditor.Step 2.
If run “EmEditor test.txt” in Command Line, the text sizes and cursor position was wrongly displayed.
Sometimes, it will also show the Unexpected black line in the bottom. If launch EmEditor first, it will create Untitled-1, and then open “test.txt”, the text sizes and cursor position are displayed correctly.
skyParticipantJust feedback that “Character Code Value” still have problem on beta 2.
It seems EE v17.5.901 & v17.5.902 can not work for U+xxxxx (Five digits).
CJK EXT A: U+3400 ~ U+9FFF => OK
CJK EXT B~F: U+20000 ~ U+2EBEF => can not workskyParticipantThanks for the update.
Problem 1 was fixed on beta 2.skyParticipantEE v17.5.901, in Cell selection mode, it can not display the selection in the cell, it just display in the Cell toolbar.
No matter double-clicking a word or drag to select a word in the cell.
