March 7, 2019 at 1:50 am in reply to: Keyboard Map Customization is gone from time to time -> is this a bug? #25466ldmParticipantThanks for your tip!!! Looked for it for so long time! Now I configured my keyboard shortcuts with the ‘All Configurations’ option. Let’s see… Will update you later whether they are kept or not… Thank you again for your tip!
ldmParticipant“I can think about adding the ability to define several root folders to the Explorer plug-in” – sure, please do it!
Please also think about how to easily switch between the root folders.Would it possible to have several tabs (each one for a single root folder) or probably some drop-down menu?
Please update us when would it be ready :-)
Thank you!ldmParticipantUsually, I work on several projects, so several ‘Root’ folders should be defined. Is this possible?
ldmParticipantOK, actually the time delay is just for the first time when the macro is get executed. after that there is no a time delay…. Probably for the first time the macro is loaded to the memory and this add about 1sec delay in the execution. after that there is no delay (also for the macro shortcut execution).
Again, thank a lot for sharing your macro!
ldmParticipantThanks a lot! I tried the macro and it works just fine (despite some delay about 1sec in execution…)!
BTW, is there a way to reduce this execution delay? Are all macros suffer from execution delay? Is there a way to make them a part of the edior code?October 16, 2017 at 12:29 pm in reply to: AutoSave or Backup features -> keeping file versions -> is it possible #22498ldmParticipantGreat! Is it possible to change a syntax of the files? Let’s say instead of <FileName>_<VerNum>.<extension> set is as <FileName>$<VerNum>.<extension>?
Could this feature be added in the future?
October 14, 2017 at 12:06 pm in reply to: AutoSave or Backup features -> keeping file versions -> is it possible #22493ldmParticipantI need this feature ASAP! Could it be implemented or already exists? Why doesn’t a developer respond to this post?
July 26, 2017 at 4:48 am in reply to: Project PlugIn -> when will be available in more than one group? #22114ldmParticipant“allowed (but not supported) ” – could you elaborate please? :-)
June 15, 2017 at 11:38 am in reply to: Installation of different versions of EmEditor on the same PC #21973ldmParticipantThe new EmEditor was released… Has the Project Plug-In been already integrated into EmEditor core? Is it possible now to open the Project PlugIn in two or more file groups (EmEditor instances)? Thank you
May 19, 2017 at 4:07 am in reply to: Installation of different versions of EmEditor on the same PC #21807ldmParticipantIs there a way to create a list of open buttons and put it aside of the main window? I mean something like an Outline Plug-In, but with a list of the currently open tabs, which could be sorted by A-Z, etc. Is this possible? Probably is there such Plug-In already?
May 18, 2017 at 1:04 am in reply to: Installation of different versions of EmEditor on the same PC #21800ldmParticipant“Tabs coloring should distinguish between the current file and other files” – not only ….
Coloring the file tabs, which is based on the regex, could also be very useful …
May 17, 2017 at 1:23 pm in reply to: Installation of different versions of EmEditor on the same PC #21793ldmParticipantGreat! Looking forward to the new version with the Project plug, which would be available in more than one group!
Is there a way to add coloring to the tabs as well? If the coloring of the tabs would support regex, it will be a greatest feature!
Thank you!
May 14, 2017 at 12:41 pm in reply to: Installation of different versions of EmEditor on the same PC #21769ldmParticipant“you can use save different portable versions and use them at a different time” – is there no a way to run different instances of EmEditor on the same time? no matter – portable or installed, different or same version… there is no a way?
May 13, 2017 at 9:29 am in reply to: Installation of different versions of EmEditor on the same PC #21766ldmParticipantI wanted it just because of the Project Plugin. This plugin could be used just in a single group. So, when I open another files group, it cannot be used there ….
ldmParticipantMeir, can I ask you what purpose for do you use EmEditor? Would I guess you are a books writer?
ldmParticipant“Would you be able to code a Japanese rendering engine (or for other language that you never learned)?”, “needs to learn and master it” – it seems this is a key of the problem – human resources :-)
“which of the RTL languages do you need?” – Hebrew like you :-)
ldmParticipantHi Meir,
No I have not received an answer from Yutaka yet, believe in a better. Why not to support in the bi-directional editing? Is there a serious tech problem to implement this feature?
JustldmParticipantSo, as for the new versions of EmEditor, does it currently support the Text Right Alignment? Thank you!
ldmParticipantYes, please add “Matched Strings with Line Numbers” – should be very useful while working on the single file!
ldmParticipantldmParticipantAny response?
