many portable software can support jump list without registry. so, hope emeditor too.

I 100\% sure that not a windows OS problems, I already tested 2 computer different both windows 7 64bit(English, local language set chinese traditional HK) with genuine. Ie, opera other software jump list is normal. Only Emeditor Not jump list. V10, V9 also has same problems. I also set emeditor to chinese traditional also not has jump list. all can I set, I already try. Hope fix as soon as.

recent I update computer to windows 7, when use jump list, so found the bugs.

after save the macro and run. emeitor direct close.

I hope can customize ‘single encode’ menu is better. such as UTF8.

macro also slow and more procedure. if set customer menu just need press–reload and GB encode. 2 proccess only.

but on default need file—>reload select scroll down , need 4 proccess.

Thanks For test. may my os already turn off some script function. also may be before i already used a emeditor install version. so that not detect the macro patch.

I used Windows vista 32bit Home Premium Sp1 genius is not work.

But windows 7 64bit(32bit emeditor) can used macro(Save and run) on portable version.

So, It windows vista vbs/js has a problems or missing open some servics ?

but i tested on vista, when the macro ‘not save’ is can run. when save and open back, run has a error.

please test on vista 32bit hp sp1, i think only this version windows issue. if found solve method, please tell me on here. Thanks support.

Sorry, bugs again. same samples when on sticky vertical mode at ‘first time’ point the cursor to text, then press shift+ right/left.up/down arrow key to select the text. that can’t seletion. want point again the cursor. hope test and fix.

bugs found on 10.0 and also 10.0.1.

Please Test. I mean I already Closed The ‘abc.txt’ file. but second time, emeditor load back the file, why ?

And I test the “Save only” Mode Then Open ‘abc.txt’ and closed Emeditor Program. Next Time I open Emeditor ‘abc.txt’ Not Loading, Why ?

I also test on portable version on Winxp/Vista 32Bit Version. That has a ‘Logic bugs’. I hope you can do test. I 100\% sure has a problems. but i poor english, not clean to explain. Hope other user do test too. Many Thanks.

I Set “Remember Last Folder”, But When I Open Other Folder, Will Remember Other Folder Again.

I Want The Open Dialog Folder Allway Can’t Be Change, When I Loading Emeditor Software, Then Open File.

But, I got new problem. how about current not a ‘single word’ (see below examples) ? some word has 2 char(unicode chinese), some word has 3 or 4 char? hope help again. many thanks.

I Using Emeditor English Version: Portable Version With Ini Setting. I Use Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 English Version With Region Setting With Chihese Taiwan.

Because I Always Used Ini Setting So I Known The Ini Slowly With Flash Driver Problem, Since Version 8.01 Starter.

I Used Flash Driver To Test 2 PCs, WinXP SP2 OK, But Vista Can’t Run With Same VB/JS Script.

May Is A Vista Bugs ? My 2 PC Everything Is OK, Run JS/VB On IE, Opera, Firefox Not Problem.

Winxp sp2 Can Run. But On Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 Can’t Run (Error: object requireed: ‘document’ )
Both JS/VB Same Error.

Yes, Let User Choice Is Better.

Since Emeditor 8.01 , Open And Close Program Very Slow On Flash Driver. I Test Many Kinds And Times,

Emeditor 8.00 Very Fast Compare To 8.01 And 8.02.
I Don’t Why ? Many A Ini Functions Change Since 8.01 ?
I Tested The ‘Slow Problem’ Is Read And Write Ini File.
Hope Test, Check And Fix.

Also, I Found Your Website, Most Macro Files Can’t Run On Emeditor 8.XX, Many Error Code. I Also, Try Used Macro Funtion “editor.ExecuteCommandByID(4413);”
Fix The ‘Collapses Case’. But, I Can’t Do it(Editor Error Code 28). Can U Tell Me How To Write This Macro ?

Also The Unicode (EXT-A,B,C) Problems. When I Used MS-Word 2007 Copy(Select All, Ctrl+C) The Bigger(About 1MB~3MB) Unicode Chinese TEXT, When I Paste(Ctrl+V) To Emeditor, Very Slow.
Emeditor 5X,6X,7X,8X All Has This Problems.
You Can Use Also The Ext-B File For Test, But You Want Make The FileSize To 1MB(Combine 2 Test Files).
