It suddenly occurs to me this is just why some commands I need are not included, which I thought was by design before.
I will never know if I don’t reset my menu. So maybe you should check them all over to see if there are more missing.

The items below (in the default TrayIconMenu(1) ) are not in the “Commands” list for “Tray Icon”:

Some apps (e.g. Beyond Compare) add recent workspaces into Jump List, along with the recent files.

A display issue:
Switch to a CSV format whose Delimiter is more than 1 character.
** If the window is not wide enough, the delimiter in the view “changes” to the 1st character with a newline mark. **

Suggestions for CSV toolbar:
Besides the macro Remove method, add a “Remove” menu item for the format buttons.
+ Option: Add rows when not fit. (And hope Markers and other toolbars will also have this option.)

Bookmarks are important to some extent.
But I feel RecentFileList is not a suitable/reliable place to store bookmarks:
▲ Not all the items in RecentFileList need bookmarks.
▲ The items in RecentFileList could be flushed away when one opens many files at a time. (See also: the 2 in: https://www.emeditor.com/forums/topic/open-save-options/ )
▲ A crash could mess up the bookmarks sometimes (due to the changed order).

Suggestion:
Save bookmarks separately from RecentFileList.
If so, I don’t have to keep a very long RecentFileList.

The new version shows a message box to ask whether you want to remove the item from the recent file/folder list when a file/folder did not exist when you tried to open it from the recent file/folder list.

Thanks for this change.

However, if the file is moved/renamed outside, to rescue the bookmarks, I have to move/rename the file back manually, and then do the move/rename inside EmEditor…

Please enhance the message box and let us redirect the path inside EmEditor.
Or please add a macro method to modify such paths.
(I even miss the days when RecentFileList was saved in the registry, where the paths could be modified easily.)

Copy it. (“Copy Column(s)” command also can be used, when the selection is not the whole column(s).)
Paste it into a new tab.

I think the Extract function is mainly for single-line/string extracting.
You can submit suggestions if you need to extract multi-line text.

For more convenience, you can:
– Give it a shortcut key;
– Make a toolbar button for it; (The default macros are good examples.)
– Put it into a menu.

Well, it’s just continuous text, if you have to use “cohesive”.

Multiline mode is just for viewing/editing clearly, when the term in single-line mode includes “\n” and makes one dizzy.

CTRL+ENTER is just for entering a newline character in that box. (= \n)
CTRL+ENTER is not for triggering the search.

You surely can use CTRL+ENTER at the end, if you want to search for a term that ends with a newline character(s).

In the box is just continuous text.
It’s not a list for searching 2 or more terms simultaneously.
Compare it with “Advanced Filter” feature in Filter toolbar.
