The single cursor actually keeps the initial X position, unless you move it horizontally.When in multiple-cursor mode, each cursor should move as a single cursor.
The current change is not good. I can’t see its usefulness.

Seems it doesn’t occur initially.
The more text you type in the current tab, the slower it goes. While either of the other three options works fine.
Several lines would be enough to see the obvious slowdown.
Later the delay could be more than 10 seconds. And see the CPU usage.
(The default dictionary is used.)Issue A:
Disable and enable WordComplete.
Type “s”. The list shows the candidates instantly and stably (without any flicker).
Delete and type “s” again.
** The list flickers. (Say it in slow motion: blink-blaaank-show.)

You can see the red wiggly line on each “orang”.
Set the text cursor within each “orang” and compare the candidate list.

My Tab setting is “Open in: New Window”. So actually I’m using “grabbing into a new window”.
I use “EmEditor grabbing EmEditor” as a fast and easy way to keep a midway version of the text on the fly during a processing.
