I’m running the 64-bit version of EmEditor v11.
One of my SSD drives is having hardware failures, and I used Intel’s SSD Toolbox to run a full diagnostic scan. This utility creates huge 3GB or so files on the root of the drive:
D:-=={Intel_Integrity_File_0}==-.txt
I attempted to open one of these files in EmEditor to see the contents. However, I am seeing an out of memory error. Something about too many characters on one line.
There’s a limit to the size of characters on a line? What is the limit?
Thanks.

Unlike number of lines in the document, there is a limit on the size of characters on a line. The limit of the size of characters on a line depends on the available memory, and even if there is enough memory, the limit is less than 2GB. I am sorry for inconveniences.

Thank you!
