Hi Yutaka,
I often have many Untitled documents open, which I just want to close.
But for each I am asked if I want to save it first, which I do not want to.
( and choosing “close all without saving” is no option I can use because other should stay open )
Suggestion:
It would be nice if we could close a modified document without being asked for saving.
Perhaps by pressing an key like Ctrl while clicking on the [x] of the document tab?
Thank you for making EmEditor.January 8, 2014 at 8:37 am #17835AndreasParticipantDoesn’t such a command already exist?
Tools -> All commands -> File -> Close -> Close without Save
How about assigning a shortcut key to that command?
January 8, 2014 at 11:09 am #17836StefanParticipantI could had sworn that that happens :D
I have searched but of course not there:
Help > Keyboard Map…
Search for “close”
Right click at “Close without Save”
Assign shortcut key like Ctrl+Alt+W
OK
[X]
Done!
Ctrl+Alt+W, W, W, W, W, W, W…
Wonderful!
Thank you Andreas for the hint. - AuthorPosts
