If I’m in a .txt document and want to open .php document, for example, the “Files of types” is automatic set at “Text (*.txt)”, I need to click there and search for “PHP (*.php)” same I must do for HTML, click and search for “HTML (*.html)” this SOOO Annoying, if I work with js,php,html,css in EmEditor, I need to select, reselect..

If I just type *.* in file name to see all the files, and open some, it will be opened as a Text File without Highlights, if it’s a php for example..

Is there any option to disable that ? How about to add new file type with all file extensions what emEditor can open ? If it’s php, automatic choose the Php Configuration, if it’s Html, Html Configuration..and so on..

If I remember correct, in EmEditor 4.0 there was not such Annoying thing..

If you select All Files (*.*) once, then next time you bring up the Open dialog box, All Files (*.*) should be pre-selected. Do you still have this issue?
