Hello everybody!
I´m using the convenient incremental search option since it has been implemented. With the latest version 15.3.0, however, it has subjectively become incredibly slow compared to version 15.2.2, which I intentionally just re-installed for exact comparison and reproducibility purposes.
In the latter version (and its predecessors) there was no perceivable delay between each keystroke into the search field and the respective match highlighting(s), whereas the most recent EmEditor version seems to chew away on every single character as it is entered. The actual file size or the number of matches doesn´t seem to matter in this regard.
Anybody else to observe this behavior? Is it maybe just a by-effect to a new configuration setting I´ve yet to find and that didn´t exist in earlier versions?
I´m referring to EmEditor64 v15.3.0 and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on an Intel NUC5 (Intel Core i5, 16 GiB dual-channel RAM, 223 GiB M.2 SSD).
Regards,

I reproduced the issue, and the search will be as fast as before.
Thanks for bringing up the issue!
