A little bit confused about configurations.

Also, how would I change string color for all XML files, e.g.?

Select Properties for All Configurations under the Tools menu, select Display tab, click Font button, click Select All button, and click Change button under Display Font.

To change a particular color for XML files, open XML properties, and go to Display tab.

Two comments:

I don’t know whether you like criticism, but

1) It seems you can only show one tool window at a time? It would be nice if tere were a tabbed interface for the tools.

2) The fonts don’t look as good as in some other editors. I am used to Editplus (it doesn’t work so well on x64, hence why I am here). The fonts are very crisp for OpenType (e.g. Courier New, and Trebuchet MS). It seems there is some aliasing missing in EmEditor.

I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to set the tab size?

I know it is hidden… To set the tab size, go to Properties, select the General tab, and click the Tab/Indent button.
