For to compare two files EmEditor opens a second window.
Now, how to
– close second window
– move file back to original (first) window
– restore original window to size right before starting the comparing (it is still half the width)
in one step?“[x]Restore windows positions when finished” does nothing for me (v21.5.2)
Me imagine a command like “Compare > End Compare” to bring everything back to normal.
Right now I have two EmEditor windows open and one file was moved to it and the original window was resized to half the width.
But I am done with comparing, how to go back to normal?
I have nothing found in the help about it.Thank you for making EmEditor

Thank you very much for your reply and the solution. (sorry for the late response of mine)Even thank you more for this new feature below :D
.
New in Version 21.7 (May 11, 2022)
New General Features
The new version displays file comparison results in one vertically split window by default
when you select the Compare or Compare with Options command.
The previously used tiled window display is still possible by setting options..
