I LOVE EmEditor, however I HATE the highlighting colors that come out of the box. Could this be improved?
The other thing I would like to suggest is a system that builds and unbuilds templates parts of a page into an WYSIWYG unified page with all the dynamic elements replaced by dummys so that when you un-build the page, you get all the chages back to the template parts and the dummys replaced again by the dynamic elements. This could be done by html-commenting what you don’t want to edit and inverting this comments when replacing again to the dynamic elements.
February 4, 2007 at 3:07 am #4160elreservadMemberHere I created a coloring scheme for PHP
http://files-upload.com/files/89582/phpLikeDW.esy.html
it’s like DreamWeaver’s Coloringthe only thing different is that somehow DreamWeaver renders the fonts with a different engine, so it is imposible to replicate the exact font size nor the rendering of the colors, so I had to find some colors that ‘looked like’ in dreamweaver (you have to make a print-screen and see it at 1600\% in Photoshop to see what I mean)
Edit1:
Oh, I have just noticed that the highlighting colors wheren’t included in the export file, so you won’t be able to see it the way I see it. Sorry. Finally there is something I can’t do in EmEditor (to export highlighting colors)Here you can see a before:

and the after:

nice after. don’t you think?
Edit2:
and again, there IS a way you all can use my PHP scheme and is installing this registry file:February 5, 2007 at 2:12 am #4162elreservadMemberI can’t believe, 95 views and no one even tells me ‘thanks men’ or something. This is the most discouraging forum I have ever seen.
February 9, 2007 at 5:01 pm #4171Yutaka EmuraKeymasterIt is just a matter of taste. In future, I will try to add a “theme” feature for EmEditor color set so one can easily change all the colors without need to change each color independently, which has been a tedious work!
