    I do not know why “Find in Files” in 7.00 (beat1-beta5) is slower than v6.

    Are you using the portable version (using INI files) or the normal installation (using the Registry)?

    Do you use regular expressions?

    I’m using the portable version (using INI files)
    Regular expression is disabled when searching.
    Hmm, I should try the register version later.

    The portable version is slower than the normal (registry) version. If you still see the differene, please let me know more details how to reproduce the difference.

    Yeah. The register version is fast — That’s what I wanna. But, Is there any different between register version and portable version on “Find in files”? I think they should have the same performance.
