Starting with sample textapple banana cherry apple banana cherry apple banana cherry apple banana cherry apple banana cherry apple banana cherry apple banana cherry apple banana cherry
Type CTRL-H to bring up the replace box.
Type banana in the Find field, type grape in the Replace field.
Click Find Next and it highlights banana on the first line.
Click Replace and it replaces banana on the SECOND line with grape.
Each subsequent click of Replace replaces banana every other line with grape so you end up withapple banana cherry apple grape cherry apple banana cherry apple grape cherry apple banana cherry apple grape cherry apple banana cherry apple grape cherry
