I would like to disable the “feature” of automatic ticking of “in the selection only” Option in the Search and Replace. I thought I had found a fix for this in previous times but maybe not. In any event, after a half hour of searching Help, my notes, and this forum I can’t find it.

I’m sure it’s simple and I’ve overlooked it. Somebody help me out? It causes me constant grief.
