1. Ctrl+F(Find dialog box), “Count Matches” & “In the Selection Only” check box is checked, and “Close when Finished” check box is no matter checked or unchecked.
2. Select 1st line
3. Find “1”, result is “2 matches are found in 1 lines” -> correct.
4. Select 1st and 2nd line
5. Press F3 (Find “1” again), result is still “2 matches are found in 1 lines”, but the actual result is 4 matches. (The cursor is correct, it can move to 2nd line position.)
ie. the occurrences of the matched seems will not recalculate when the selection is changed.
