I have been searching through all options, but I am not finding a way to saye a Byte Order Mark for a UTF-8 file that does not have one. Is there a way to do this? I am running 19.9.2.
Thanks.

Encoding is set for Configured Encoding.
Add a Unicode Signature (BOM) is checked offHowever, I open a UTF-8 file with no BOM then save it. EmEditor is not writing a BOM.

If you have a Unicode file without a BOM, the only way to have EmEditor save with a BOM is to perform a Save As… from the File menu then select the particular encoding from the Save As dialog ensuring with signature is selected. This will write out a new file with a BOM. It’s the only way to do it.
