When trying many thousands of replacements (especially with regexes) the program goes to “Not responding mode” and there is no indication how long the process will take. Perhaps not having the “Not responding mode” and having a progress bar instead would be useful?
Mind you, the “Not responding mode” is all too common when performing large tasks, even pasting a column with 100,000 lines.
