Currently Save is disabled when the document has no name (eg. a new document).
It would be great if EE allowed Save, as well as Save As, and just prompted (ie. show file open/save dialog) when the fie didn’t have a filename.
This would allow users to consistently use Ctrl+S to save a file, even if it doesn’t have a name.
A few other text editors have this feature, and it’s very useful.

The Save should prompt the Save As dialog when a file is untitled.
If you want the Save should be enabled even if the file is unmodified, please check “Always Enable Saving” check box in the Save Details dialog (Saving… button) on the File tab of configuration properties.
