What are logical coordinates and display coordinates? What is a logical line?

Logical coordinates are based on the number of newline characters in the document and are irrelevant to how the lines are displayed. Display coordinates are based on how the lines are displayed. If a line wraps into two lines, that counts as two lines in display coordinates. The wrapping mode can change the display coordinates but not the logical coordinates.
