How do I uninstall EmEditor?

For Windows 10+

  1. Open Windows Settings and go to Apps.
  2. In the search box, search for EmEditor.

  3. Click on the EmEditor row and click Uninstall.
  4. EmEditor will ask if you would like to keep your settings. Answer Yes if you want to retain your settings for the next time you install EmEditor on the same computer.

For Windows 8 and below

  1. Open Control Panel and go to Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Select EmEditor from the Add or Remove Programs dialog box and click the Delete button.
