EmEditor v18.1 released!

Today, we are releasing EmEditor v18.1.

If you use the Desktop Installer version, you can select Check for Updates on the Help to download the newest version. If you the Desktop portable version, you can go to the Download page to download the newest version. The Store App versions can be updated through Microsoft Store (64-bit or 32-bit) after a few days.

The desktop versions of this version is available free if you have a lifetime license or if your maintenance plan is valid. Your registration keys might be found in the Emurasoft Customer Center. The registration key for v18 is the same as the key for v14, v15, v16, and v17. The Store App versions are available free if you have a valid subscription via Microsoft Store.

Notes: For EmEditor v18.0.9 and earlier versions, users with normal licenses could choose to remain with the last version downloaded without the purchase of annual subscription. However, starting from EmEditor v18.1, users will not be able to use EmEditor Professional without a current subscription. The name of the license was changed from Normal License to Annual Subscription. The existing users who still use an old Desktop version (v18.0.9 or earlier) may continue using the same old version as long as EmEditor stays at the old version.
