When you use AI features such as AI toolbar, EmEditor only connects to the OpenAI API to process AI commands. API requests to OpenAI are sent from the EmEditor app directly to OpenAI servers. Our servers at emeditor.com do not receive any of the requests. The request payloads are not stored after EmEditor is closed. If you do not use AI features, no data is sent to OpenAI.
