Truncated items

Only a few of the list items are truncated by default:

Customize:
	Edit: 1 item.
	CSV: 1 item.
	Active String: 3 items.
	
Configuration properties:
	Scroll: Options: 4 items.

Issue 1:
When the window is Always on Top, such a tooltip (for a truncated item) will be invisible.

Suggestion 1:
How about adjusting the UI a little to fit these long items by default?
No need to make the windows wider. Since both the Category area on the left and the controls on the right can be narrower.

Suggestion 2:
And the default look of the “Color” column in Highlight(1) is not acceptable for me.
How about adding serial numbers (or abbreviations) for the colors (like below) and just using the serial numbers (or abbreviations) in the list:
1 (H1) = Highlight (1)
2 (H2) = Highlight (2)
3 (H3) = Highlight (3)
4 (H4) = Highlight (4)
5 (H5) = Highlight (5)
6 (H6) = Highlight (6)
7 (H7) = Highlight (7)
8 (H8) = Highlight (8)
9 (H9) = Highlight (9)
10 (H10) = Highlight (10)
11 (C:CL) = Compare – Changed lines
12 (C:CC) = Compare – Changed characters
13 (C:A) = Compare – Added
14 (C:D) = Compare – Deleted
15 (C:B) = Compare – Blank
