Hi All,
As for the AutoSave or BackUp features, does them support versions of the saved files? Is it possible to set a maximum number of the saved versions.
I mean some mechanism, which adds $<version_number> to the saved file:
filename.$1.ext
filename.$2.ext
filename.$3.ext
filename.$4.ext
…This way keeps a history of the saved file.
Thank you!

For me, I don’t wish Emeditor creates lots of backup file since the setting of time interval for autosave is only 1 min. Finally I have to delete backup file manually.October 14, 2017 at 12:06 pm #22493ldmParticipantI need this feature ASAP! Could it be implemented or already exists? Why doesn’t a developer respond to this post?
October 14, 2017 at 3:26 pm #22494Yutaka EmuraKeymasterYou can set the “Rename if the Same File Name Exists” check box in the Auto Save or Backup page of configuration properties.

Could this feature be added in the future?
